Wireless application
The OHSU ED is currently planning on deploying wireless 802.11b technology in the emergency department. Initial projects include beside registration and potentially point of care documentation.
Video Conferencing
This project is currently in the development phase. Potential applications include electronic video conferencing with referring physicians /providers and the electronic transfer of data and images. In addition, potential intra-institutional applications are being explored.
Medical Photography/Education
A database of medical teaching images is currently being compiled by members of the faculty.
