Announcing the co-recipients of the 2015-2016 John C. Moorhead Endowment Fund Scholarship
The Department of Emergency Medicine awards scholarships from the Moorhead Endowment fund to support junior faculty educators in emergency medicine to help shape and develop generations of emergency physicians for years to come.
We are pleased to announce this year's co-recipients of the John C. Moorhead Endowment Fund Scholarship:
Gillian Beauchamp, M.D.
Gillian Beauchamp was awarded the scholarship for her project, "The Development of a Series of Asynchronous Multimedia Learning Modules in Clinical Toxicology Core Content for the Emergency Medicine Resident."
Simran Vahali, M.D.
Simran Vahali received the scholarship for her project, "Understanding Medical Student Perceptions of High-Fidelity Simulation: A Qualitative Study."
John C. Moorhead Emergency Medicine Endowment Fund was established in 2009 to honor Dr. Moorhead's contributions to emergency medicine, emergency medical services, medical education, and health policy. The fund provides continued support of Dr. Moorhead's commitment to education and advocacy in emergency medicine.
