Live Event

Live Event streaming allows you to transmit an event using any standard audio and/or video input and broadcast it live over the Web. The sights and sounds of your live event are then streamed using our Real Streaming Media servers. By utilizing our live event streaming servers, you can reach a much wider audience across a much larger geographic area.

Ways to Capture Your Live Event

1. Client Shoots Live Event
The following rooms are equipped with cameras which clients can operate themselves and connected to the streaming video servers:

• OHSU Auditorium
• Doernbecher Auditorium

2. EdComm Shoots Live Event
EdComm can shoot video for a live stream in any location which has an IP jack or a fiber link to the streaming video servers.

3. Videoconference
Videoconferences at OHSU can be arranged so that the video is also sent to the streaming video servers. There is about a 25 second lag.

4. Satellite Downlink
The video from a satellite downlink can be sent to the streaming video servers. Limited satellite downlinks available. There is about a 25 second lag.

5. Fiber Link
We can stream video from where ever there is a fiber link to the streaming video production servers.
