Prerecorded Event

Archived Media Streaming allows to you to take a prerecorded event and store it on the EdComm Streaming Video Servers. This allows your viewers to watch the event at their convenience.

1. Client Finished Tape
Clients delivers tape to EdComm for streaming.

DVCAM, miniDV, SVHS and VHS tapes can be streamed without conversion. Other types will have to be converted. Tapes may not be longer than one hour in duration.

2. Client Tape, EdComm Edits
Clients arrange with EdComm's video production team to edit the video. This is done when a client wants to delete, rearrange sections or add graphics to the video.

3. EdComm Produces Video
Clients arranges with EdComm video producers to create a video to be streamed. The producer will advise the client on scripting, production planning, costs, videography, editing and graphical content.

4. Videoconference
Videoconferences at OHSU can be arranged so that the video is also sent to the streaming video production servers for archiving.
