VA Technologists and Nurses

Mare Walsh, R.T.R., joined the Veterans Affairs Medical Center’s angio team 25 years ago. She maintains dual roles in the Imaging Department as an angio technologist and chief technologist. She runs her horses in competitive barrel races, and enjoys the outdoors and white water rafting.

Rob Atkinson, R.T.R., has been with the Veterans Affairs Medical Center angio team since 1999. He graduated with honors from the Oregon Institute of Technology’s Medical Imaging Program. He enjoys coaching his son’s Little League baseball team and spending time in the outdoors.

Neil Ferris, R.T.R., has been a member of the V.A. Angio Lab since 1980. He enjoys bowling, working on his classic truck and attending Portland Winterhawks hockey games.
