VA Technologists and Nurses

Robert Wettlaufer, RN, Kristen Fay, RTR, Melissa Isett, RTR, Colby McDougall, RTR, Rob Atkinson, RTR

Rob Atkinson, R.T.R., has been with the Veterans Affairs Medical Center angio team for close to14 years. Part of what he enjoys are the unique cases they do as well as having the opportunity to work with residents and fellows. He graduated with honors from the Oregon Institute of Technology’s Medical Imaging Program.

In his free time Atkinson enjoys hiking, climbing, golf and all things that Oregon has to offer.

Kristen Fay, R.T.R., graduated from Oregon Institute of Technology in 2010 and joined the VA interventional team the same year. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, reading, and spending time with her husband and dog at the Oregon coast.

Melissa Isett, R.T.(R)(VI)., served 4 years in the Army as a medical specialist. She has been with the Portland VA Medical Center since September 2003. She joined the Interventional Radiology team May 2004.  While away from work she enjoys camping, fishing, golfing, BBQ’s and traveling.

Colby McDougall, R.T.R., joined the VA interventional department in 2009 after working in X-ray for several years at both OHSU and the VA. He enjoys traveling the world, eating and anything outdoors, especially snowshoeing and hiking.

Robert Wettlaufer, R.N., has been an RN in a variety of positions for over 20 yrs. He has worked at the VA for several years in an on-call position and became full time last August. He travels to Mexico as often as possible to fish and spearfish. Here in Portland he keeps busy raising his 10 year old son and gardening.
