Dixie McWilliams has been with OHSU since 1989, joining the Dotter Institute’s administrative team in 1994. McWilliams presently holds the position of clinical and research fellowship coordinator and administrative program coordinator. In her current position, McWilliams is responsible for the short and long-term interventional radiology fellow training programs, the stroke treatment course and, in the past, the Oregon Angio Club. She also serves as the continuing medical education liaison for the Institute. McWilliams plays a key role in the coordination of national and international conferences, special events, faculty recruitment and human resources, and immigrations visa support. .
McWilliams helps to promote the Institute and its programs by serving as meeting planner for the Vascular and Interventional Education Days for Technologists and Nurses. Previously, she was involved with planning the Interventional/Neurointerventional Conferences in Park City and the International Symposiums on Interventional Radiology in Prague. She is also a notary public.
McWilliams’ hobbies include golf, white-water rafting, stamp and coin collecting, quilt making, and enjoying life.
