Christina Mays joined the Dotter Institute in October 2007 as an Accounting Technician focusing on patient billing, ordering supplies, and auditing insurance and patient billing. Mays comes to the Institute from the University Medical Group where she worked for three years. Prior to working for UMG, Mays was the department trainer for the payment-processing department at First Consumer's National Bank for ten years until the bank closed.

Outside of work, Mays has a degree in Criminology, a law degree from Lewis & Clark Law School, and is currently studying for the Oregon Bar Exam. She enjoys spending time with her children, husband, four grandchildren, and various pets. She is the founder and CEO of The Pibble Farm Pit Bull rescue and is very active in the rescue community. When time permits, she also enjoys reading, hiking, motorcycling, exploring the Oregon Coast, and does as many community races, bicycle rides, and obstacle runs as she can.
