Dr. Younghwan Kim graduated from the School of Medicine, Kyungpook National University in Daegu City, Korea. He completed his residency and fellowship in diagnostic and interventional radiology at the Kyungpook National University Hospital. He works for Dongsan Medical Center as an assistant professor in the Keimyung University, School of Medicine.

Kim is interested in portal hypertension intervention and new biomaterial covered devices such as SIS. His research includes studying the outcome of new biomaterial covered devices.

In his free time, Kim enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.
