For clinical fellowship applicants
The Dotter Interventional Institute at the Oregon Health & Science University offers two fellowships in Interventional Angiography. Appointments are for one academic year, with possible extension to two years. This is a joint fellowship program between the University Hospital and the Veterans Administration Hospital, which is immediately adjacent to our facility. The fellows rotate on an alternating basis between the two hospitals and our research laboratory.

Our angiography faculty consists of five staff members, Drs. Frederick Keller, Robert Barton, Paul Lakin, Bryan Petersen, John Kaufman and Kenneth Kolbeck.
The angiography service at the University Hospital performs approximately 3000 arteriograms and interventional procedures a year covering the entire range of procedures. The VA Hospital has an additional 1500 cases a year. There is an active clinical research program involving stent grafts, embolization, TIPS, and other projects. All cases are performed by the fellows and residents assigned to the service under staff supervision.
