Morphology conference/grand rounds
Morphology conference
The OHSU Dermatology Department Morphology conference occurs every Wednesday morning
from 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. All community dermatologists are encouraged to invite patients
with interesting or challenging skin diseases as well as those in whom there are diagnostic
or treatment dilemmas. From 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m., patient viewing occurs in the clinic area on
the 16th floor of the Center for Health and Healing (CHH). Then, from 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.,
the cases are discussed in the conference room on the 3rd floor of the CHH.
If you have a patient you would like to invite to the conference, we encourage you to be present at the conference and to bring along any relevant histopathology slides. If you are unable to attend, we encourage you to send a short write-up or chart notes on the patient as well any relevant histopathology slides. Your patient will be presented by one of the residents and Dr. Clifton White will review the histopathology. You will be contacted via email or fax with a short write up of the patient discussion.
Please provide your patients with the Morphology Conference Patient Materials for directions and expectations. If needed, patients should call (503) 418-3376 to ask for specific instructions.
