to more aggressive treatments.

- Botox
Botox injections can be very effective for isolated wrinkles such as those on the forehead, between the eyebrows, and adjacent to the eyes (crow's feet). The response lasts 3-6 months. Most people can go back to work on the same day or the next day. (Drs. Lee and Swanson participated in the research that led to the FDA approval of botox.)
- Filler substances
Filler substances are used for soft tissue augmentation of the skin. Various injectables are used to fill in and contour wrinkles, folds and depressions. The results are completely natural appearing. There is minimal discomfort and downtime. Collagen, Restylane and fat transfer (microlipoinjection) are the traditional fillers we use to augment the signs of aging. We also use many of the newest substances now available, some with effects lasting more than two years. (See before and after pictures below.)

- Thermage ThermaCool
For longer lasting treatments, the new, innovative Thermage ThermaCool tightens the skin with minimal to no down time. ThermaCool sends radiofrequency waves deep into the skin to cause collagen remodeling and tightening. The results peak at around 3 to 6 months.
- CO2 Ultrapulse Laser
The CO2 Ultrapulse Laser is the ultimate in wrinkle removal as it both levels the wrinkle and tightens the underlying skin. There are both immediate changes and long term benefits. The recovery period for the new skin to form is usually 7 to 10 days. Some persistent redness may linger after this period although it can easily be covered by make-up. (See before and after pictures below.)
After a careful analysis of your skin type and condition, the appropriate skin treatment is chosen based on our analysis and your desires.
