Brown colored spots and other pigmentation usually caused by the sun can be effectively treated with the pigment lasers in 1 to 2 treatments. OHSU Dermatologic Laser Center has 4 different pigment lasers and the Starlux Intense Pulse Light to accommodate the removal of various pigmented lesions on different colored skin types. There are many pigmented lesions that are not moles although many people call all brown spots "moles." We do not recommend laser treatment of true moles.
