A new front door to the Dermatology Department
When did the Department of Dermatology move?
Clinical services started being offered in the new building Monday, November 6, 2006.Where is the new building?
The new Center for Health & Healing is just south of the Ross Island
Bridge on the South Waterfront. It is near Macadam Avenue; the address
is 3303 SW Bond Avenue. Why did the department move?
The department's move provides easier access to our
services. The move also provides additional space since the department
is growing.
Have all services moved?
Yes. All dermatology services have moved to the Center for Health &
Healing. Surgical services are on the 5th floor and general dermatology
services are on the 16th floor. What new services are you offering?
- New cosmetic services to provide rejuvenating procedures for the skin and face including facials, waxing, and chemical peels, to help keep your skin looking its best.
- Additional surgery services
- Educational programs designed to increase the number of dermatologists available to the community in the future
- Expanded pediatric services
- Additional medical dermatologists

What is parking like?
Free parking for patients is available in a convenient and easy-to-access
underground parking garage under the new building.
What options are available for transportation
to the new Center for Health & Healing?
Public transportation options being developed include the streetcar,
