Publication: Fallers Logging Safety (PPT)   2/08 *Revised*

Please Note: This is a revised Logger Safety Booklet (2/2008). The earlier version had an error that was brought to our attention by a faller who had carefully read the book.

If you are using the previous booklet, on page 28, first paragraph, the last sentence says: "The height of the face-cut should be no more than one-fifth of the diameter of the tree." We intended that the sentence said the exact opposite. It should read: "The height of the face-cut should be more than one-fifth of the diameter of the tree." Therefore, the word "no" needs to be deleted from this sentence to correct the error.

Please cross out, "white out" or delete the word to make this change in any books you have. We are correcting all future copies that we distribute.
