Import - Step 1 of 2
Use the Import dialogs to name the .zip file containing
a metadata form, custom field type, or custom Element.
The metadata form, custom field type, or custom Element
being imported must have been exported from another CommonSpot server. After
being imported, the form, field type, or Element is locked.
Note: The Category
field is only displayed when you are importing a Custom Element.
Enter the following:
- Packet File Name - Required. Enter the full path name or click Browse to locate the .zip archive to import. The path name must not contain spaces. If you are typing the path name, you cannot type a relative path name. See Administrators Reference for information on how CommonSpot stores exported files.
- Category - Required for Custom Element imports only. Select a category for displaying the imported Element in the Element Gallery. The Category field does not display for importing other object types. (See Manage Content Categories for information on categories.)
Click Next to display the Import - Step 2 of 2 or Cancel to exit.
