DESCRIPTION:
Child psychiatry residents attend the OHSU pediatric neurology clinic to expand their knowledge of neurophysiology and neuropathology and develop familiarity with basic neurological signs, symptoms and syndromes in children.

DURATION:
Four months, one half day per week in the first year.

SUPERVISION:
Dr. Thomas Koch serves as a resource, and supervises this rotation.

METHODS:

  • Residents are expected to do at minimum a neurological screening examination of patients seen in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic.
