Kyle P. Johnson, M.D., joined the faculty of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in 1999. Dr. Johnson obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1988, and graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 1992. He completed his general psychiatry training at OHSU in 1996 and his child and adolescent psychiatry training at OHSU in June 1999. Dr. Johnson is board-certified in general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry.

Dr. Johnson consults to the division's Children's Psychiatric Day Treatment Center serving 3 to 7 year old children. He is also a clinician in OHSU's Sleep Medicine Clinic specializing in the treatment of sleep disorders in children and adolescents. In addition, he holds an appointment in the Division of Public Psychiatry where he teaches general psychiatry residents and social work students.

Dr. Johnson's special areas of interest include the interface between psychiatry and primary care medicine, pediatric sleep medicine, and circadian rhythm disturbances in children and adolescents.
