Telehealth
The use of remote videoconferencing is a new and developing technology which allows us to better communicate, share information with, and provide training to our partners around the state. Our network of teleconference sites is expanding within our own office, with OHSU and with partners around the state.
We are beginning to explore the capacity and value of remote site training. Our Adolescent Transition Learning Collaborative is done by presenting from one location and sending the presentation in real time to remote sites around the state. Question and answer sessions can also be conducted with this system which allows for remote site interaction. This newly emerging method of statewide training will allow people to receive valuable training without having to travel long distances to get it.
We are compiling lists of sites around the state that can be used for teleconferencing. Teleconference sites around the state (Excel file)
