Anthony Lumbad

I grew up in the small town of Benicia, CA in the San Francisco Bay Area before heading south to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where I studied Anatomy & Physiology, performed in the university Wind Ensemble and Saxophone Quartet, and took full advantage of the outdoor activities that California’s central coast has to offer. After graduating from Cal Poly, I explored the Physician Assistant profession while working in Anatomic Pathology and Physical Therapy. From these two fields came my inspiration to further investigate human illness and hands-on healing as a PA. Predictably I am interested in practicing in orthopaedics, but am keeping an open mind to which medical field I may end up. After a three year hiatus from school, I am lucky and proud to be a member of the Physician Assistant class of 2016 here at OHSU!
