Hi! I am a first year PA student and loving every crazy minute of it! Originally from Seattle, my husband and I moved down to Portland with our Saint Bernard in June and are trying to juggle school, work, studying, relaxing, exploring PDX, and spending time with our dog. I earned my BS in Neurobiology from the University of Washington in 2005, and then promptly decided to try to make it as a theatre actress in Seattle…that didn’t last too long. I then took a job as a nursing assistant in the Neuroscience ICU at Harborview Medical Center. This was an incredible experience and ultimately led me to PA school! So far it has been a rollercoaster ride. Just like everyone says, “It is like trying to drink water from a fire hydrant.” I look forward to what the rest of my first year has in store!
