Applications for the 2013-2014 Presidential Bridge Funding program will be due May 17, 2013. Bridge funding is available for independent established investigators at OHSU threatened by an imminent lapse in research support. The OHSU Knight Cancer Institute is now accepting applications for Pilot Project funding. The purpose of these $50,000 awards is to cultivate outstanding translational cancer research by assisting in the generation of preliminary data leading to peer-reviewed, national funding. The Oregon Clinical & Translational Research Institute (OCTRI) is now accepting letters of intent for its Catalyst Awards, which facilitate novel, collaborative, multidisciplinary studies that will lead to further research and funding in translational research. OHSU’s Methamphetamine Abuse Research Center (MARC) seeks applications for pilot project research grants. These grants, of up to $30,000, are designed to bring new research directions, approaches, and investigators into the center.
