Significant changes to NIH Pathway to Independence Award K99 program

The NIH has reissued its parent announcement for the Pathway to Independence Award (K99/R00). Several significant changes have been made to this program for applications due in Winter 2014 and beyond: Candidates for the K99/R00 award must have no more than 4 years of postdoctoral research training experience at the time of the initial application or the subsequent resubmission.
