Each month, the DNA Services Core Facility analyzes the DNA sequencing metadata (read length, quality scores, etc) and gives a $54 worth of sequencing credit to the “winner” of the Template Quality Challenge. In May, DNA Services sequenced ~2500 DNA samples, large and small. OHSU’s Transgenic Mouse Models Core is up and running after relocating to a new laboratory space in the Biomedical Research Building. The new space takes advantage of the mouse pathogen-free barrier inside of the Department of Comparative Medicine.
