HIP Buffet: Study recruitment panel discussion

Come learn tips from an experienced panel about recruiting participants for your research studies. Topics will include:

  • Best practices in recruiting
  • Tools for identifying study participants
  • Regulatory matters in participant recruitment
  • Resource allocation
  • Community recruitment

Panelists: Carrie Farrar, study coordinator unit manager, Oregon Clinical and Translational Research Institute; Robert Schuff, program director, Clinical Research Informatics, OCTRI; LeAnn Michaels, network manager, Oregon Rural Practice-Based Research Network; Darlene Kitterman, program director, Investigator Support and Integration Services at OCTRI.

The HIP Buffet Series, sponsored by the Human Investigations Program of the Oregon Clinical and Translational Science Institute, provides a forum on various topics in clinical and translational research. The HIP Buffet is targeted to all faculty, clinical and basic science postdoctoral fellows, research-ranked employees, and staff who are interested in a clinical and translational research career.
