Invention Evaluation brown bag, Feb. 6

You’ve completed an Intellectual Property Disclosure Form and submitted it the Technology Transfer & Business Development (TTBD) office. What happens next?  Please join Michele Gunness, senior technology development manager and Trina Voss, technology development manager for a discussion of how TTBD evaluates inventions to find the best route to move them from the lab to the marketplace, for the public benefit. Every invention is unique, and has multiple potential commercialization plans. In this session, we’ll take you through evaluation process and review the maze of commercialization options, which may include additional research, an exclusive license to one company, licensing to multiple companies, or even direct licensing to end users.
