Coming soon: Research Week call for abstracts

In just a few weeks, the Research Week Planning Committee will begin soliciting abstracts for OHSU Research Week 2014. Abstract submissions—for both oral and poster presentations—will be due March 5, 2014. In the meantime, mark your calendars for our upcoming workshops on “How to Write an Abstract,” presented by Allison Fryer, Ph.D., associate dean for Graduate Studies in the School of Medicine, and “How to Give a Scientific Talk,” co-presented by Dr. Fryer and Cynthia Morris, Ph.D., professor and vice chair of Medical Informatics and Clinical Epidemiology and professor of Medicine and Public Health & Preventive Medicine. All OHSU students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend.

Workshop: How to Give a Scientific Talk

Tuesday, March 11 from 12 to 1 p.m. in Mac Hall 1162
**Recommended for both Research Week oral presenters and Three-Minute Thesis competition participants.
