Join the Human Investigations Program for a HIP Buffet seminar on “Work Life Balance,” Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, at 12 p.m. in Mac Hall 2201. This talk will include personal reflections from a senior faculty member on developing and maintaining a fulfilling professional career in academic medicine while raising a family.  Practical advice on how to balance work and family life will be offered, and discussion is encouraged. The seminar will be led by Mary Samuels, M.D., professor of medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Clinical Nutrition; program director, Clinical and Translational Research Center.

The HIP Buffet Series provides a forum on various topics of interest to researchers. HIP Buffet seminars are open to all faculty, fellows, graduate students, and staff.
