Oregon Bioscience Association workshop on SBIRs, Dec. 13

The Oregon Bioscience Association is holding an informational workshop on Small Business Innovation Research Awards, more commonly referred to as SBIR’s, and other forms of government grant funding. This is a great event for any aspiring scientific entrepreneur. This workshop will cover the broadest spectrum of federal programs, including SBIR/STTR programs for the National Science Foundation, United States Department of Agriculture, and the Environmental Protection Agency, with an emphasis on the National Institutes of Health.

David H. Farrell, Ph.D., an OHSU faculty member and chief scientific officer of Gamma Therapeutics, is hosting this interactive session focused on overcoming the barriers standing between you and a funded grant. Register today for this workshop entitled, “SBIR 101: How to complete a competitive SBIR grant application,” on December 13, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Welch Allyn. Register online or contact Julie Black for any questions or concerns.
