OHSU faculty members receive Medical Research Foundation of Oregon awards

Eric Orwoll, M.D.

On Nov. 14, the Medical Research Foundation of Oregon announced the recipients of its 2013 awards program, which included two OHSU faculty members: Eric Orwoll, M.D., and Jennifer DeVoe, M.D.

Dr. Orwoll, professor of medicine and director of the Oregon Clinical and Translational Research Institute, was honored with a Discovery Award for his influential work in male osteoporosis.

Jennifer DeVoe, M.D.

Dr. DeVoe, associate professor of family medicine, received the Richard T. Jones New Investigator Award for her contributions to local and national health policy.

Other recipients of the 2013 MRF awards include Oregon State University’s P. Andrew Karplus, Ph.D., and the nonprofit Saturday Academy. To learn more, view the OHSU News release.
