Gearing up for the eCRIS transition in 2014

In about two months, eCRIS, OHSU’s new clinical research management system, will be required for all new clinical studies enrolling prospectively consented human subjects. Later in 2014, eCRIS will become mandatory for existing studies as well.

As of October, about 100 people have been trained on eCRIS and 60 new studies have voluntarily made the transition. While eCRIS was designed to make your life easier, new users have found that it’s harder to learn when they don’t understand the whole life cycle of a clinical trial. To ensure that users feel prepared for eCRIS, it’s strongly recommended that users brush up on clinical trials basics over the next few months. Use the links below to sign up for training or visit the eCRIS information website.
