Join Team OHSU at Light the Night, Oct. 19

Join the OHSU Research Team for Light the Night on Saturday, October 19, a two-mile walk benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Several OHSU researchers have been recipients of LLS funding, including Knight Cancer Institute Director Dr. Brian Druker. Funding from LLS was vital in Dr. Druker’s breakthrough discovery of Gleevec, a drug used to fight chronic myeloid leukemia. The walk is free, family-friendly event.

What: Light the Night
When: Saturday, October 19, 2013. Doors open at 5 p.m. and walk begins at 7 p.m.
Where: Oregon Convention Center
