Essential Training for Grant Administration: InfoEd & OGA

Essential components to grant management at OHSU include the use of InfoEd for submitting proposals to Grants.gov, and once awards are granted, the financial management of those funds through Oracle’s grants accounting module, OGA. The following two hands-on classes show participants how to start using InfoEd and OGA right away!

InfoEd for Grants.gov Submissions – September 10

Walk through the process of creating and routing an NIH R01 proposal as well as a non-R01 proposal. After building the proposal, you’ll complete and appropriately route an ePPQ form. Enroll now through TrainingForce.

Oracle Grants Accounting – September 26

Learn to navigate OGA to view grant project information. This course must be completed before OGA access is granted. Enroll now through TrainingForce.

Both of these courses are geared towards beginners, though experience users have been known to attend in order to refresh their skills.

Essentials of Grant Administration Certificate of Completion

Successful completion of these courses along with Responsible Conduct of Research, RDA 101, Introduction to IRB Review, and Essentials of Grant Administration leads to an Essentials of Grant Administration certificate of completion upon request.
