Focus on Microscopy forum, Aug. 2

The Advanced Light Microscopy Core will be holding a Focus on Microscopy forum on Friday, August 2, 2013. The event will be held at the Jungers Center in Vollum M1441 from 2 to 4:30 p.m. The forum will feature presentations on:

  • “New EM Capabilities at OHSU” by Chris Arthur, Ph.D., from the FEI Living Lab
  • “Devil in the Details: Sample Processing for Electron Superressolution and Correlative Light Microscopy” by Danielle Robinson from the Zhong Lab
  • “Photoactivated Localization Microscopy with Bimolecular Fluorescense Complementation (BiFC-PALM): Imaging Protein-Protein Interactions with Nanometer Resolution” by Xiaolin Nan, Ph.D., from Biomedical Engineering
  • “Principals and Applications of Optical Coherence Tomography” by Dominic Siler, Department of Anesthesiology
  • “Choosing a Sample Mounting Medium” by Stefanie Kaech, Ph.D., Advanced Light Microscopy Core, Jungers Center
