Vote for OHSU OB/GYN research grant

Help a group of OHSU women’s health researchers compete for a people’s choice award from Saving Lives at Birth, a program whose sponsors include USAID and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Alison Edelman, M.D., M.P.H., Maria Rodriguez, M.D., Jeffrey Jensen, M.D., M.P.H., and collaborators at RevMedx are finalists for their project, “A Novel Agent for Management of Post Partum Hemorrhage: Adaptation of the Xstat Mini-Sponge Applicator for Obstetric Use,” which adopts new technology from the battlefield to help decrease live-threatening maternal bleeding after childbirth.

To vote, visit the Saving Lives at Birth website, and register to vote on the right hand side of the page. Voting closes Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 8 a.m.
