Liquid nitrogen alarms available at half price for OHSU researchers

Recently, Research Administration and the Facilities & Logistics Research Store worked out a deal for an affordable liquid nitrogen monitoring system that will mitigate risk and support the integrity of your work at half the price of manufacture resale value.

How the alarms work

The alarms are stand-alone units that are not connected to a monitoring network. When your tank is low on liquid nitrogen, the alarm will give off an audible sound until it has been refilled and the alarm reset. You won’t get a text, call or email.

How to order

Roll your tank to the Research Store (Mackenzie Hall, #1197) or order online. Research Store hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
