When it comes to writing scientific papers, the varying formats, restrictions and requirements can make the whole process seem tedious. This workshop, led by Gary Westbrook, M.D., senior scientist and co-director of the Vollum Institute, will provide tips and techniques that will help you write clearly and concisely. Dr. Westbrook will cover everything from abstracts to discussions, from figures to dealing with editors. So come join us Tuesday, February 12 at 4 p.m. in the Vollum Institute auditorium, room M1441.
This event, which is part of the Vollum Career Development Series, is geared toward postdocs and grad students, but anyone is welcome. We highly encourage you to attend this event in person–we are not recording these–but we will arrange for live streaming if you are on West Campus or are otherwise unable to attend in person. If you are interested in viewing as a live stream, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
