OHSU PAIN Day: February 28, 2013 – Call for Posters!

OHSU Pain Awareness and Investigation Network Day–better known as PAIN Day 2013–is right around the corner. Awards for best posters will be given in the “Complementary and Alternative Medicine” and “Translational Approaches to Pain” categories. So take advantage of this opportunity to meet other researchers and develop collaborations!

OSHU PAIN Day starts at noon on Thursday, February 28, 2013 in the Vey Conference Center, 11th floor of Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. Featured speaker Todd Vanderah, Ph.D., from the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center will present on “Opioid-Induced Hyperalgesia: From the Lab to the Clinic.”

Register or submit a poster. It’s free to attend, but registration is required.

OHSU PAIN Day is sponsored by the OHSU Schools of Nursing and Dentistry, Offices of the Provost and Vice-President for Research, Knight Cancer Institute, and OCTRI.  Additional support provided by the Office of Technology Transfer and Business Development  and by the OHSU Brain Institute.
