Vollum Career Development Workshop: Choosing your Mentor, Jan. 29

Are you looking for a mentor? Worried about authorship? Unsure about how to approach a prospective mentor? This workshop is geared towards helping both pre-docs and postdocs find a mentor that’s a good fit. Allison Fryer, Ph.D., professor and associate dean for graduate studies in the School of Medicine, will impart her knowledge about forming positive and productive mentor relationships. The workshop will start at 4 p.m., January 29, in the Vollum Institute Auditorium, room M1441.

This event, which is part of the Vollum Career Development Series, is especially geared toward postdocs and grad students, but anyone is welcome.  We highly encourage you to attend this event in person–we are not recording these–but we will arrange for live streaming if you are on West Campus. If you are interested in viewing as a live stream, please contact funding@ohsu.edu.
