Planning your research career – UCSF’s Bill Lindstaedt, Director of Career Services, Jan. 22

Wondering how to prepare for faculty job applications? Thinking about pursuing a job in industry but don’t know how to go about it? Not sure what you want to do with your life? Find these and other answers at “Planning Your Career,” a talk by Bill Lindstaedt, M.S., Director of the Office of Career and Professional Development at the University of California, San Francisco. He will talk about career paths, strategies,and other practical tips for sorting out your future. This seminar starts at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22 in the Vollum Institute Auditorium, room M1441.

This event, which is part of the Vollum Career Development Series, is especially geared toward postdocs and grad students, but anyone is welcome.  We highly encourage you to attend this event in person–we are not recording these–but we will arrange for live streaming if you are on West Campus.
