Join us for January’s HIP Buffet seminar for a look at Recruitment and Study Feasibility Resources for clinical researchers. The seminar will be held Wednesday, January 23 from 12 to 1 p.m. in Mackenzie Hall, room 1116 and presented by Darlene Kitterman, MBA, Program Director, Oregon Clinical and Translational Research Institute (OCTRI) Investigator Support & Integration Services. Recent research shows that nearly one third of clinical studies are terminated due to low enrollment. You can increase your chances of a successful study with adequate planning in the early stages of protocol development and active recruitment and retention activities during the study. Come learn what tools are available to investigators at OHSU.
HIP Buffet is a series of workshops that are offered throughout the year to share advice, tips, and general information for the OHSU research community. The series is co-sponsored by the Oregon Clinical and Translational Research Institute’s Human Investigations Program (HIP) and Research Funding and Development Services. Faculty, fellows, graduate students, and administrators are all welcome to attend.
