Researchers take first and second place in OHSU-wide scavenger hunt
We’re excited to announce that two teams of OHSU researchers took home first and second place in the recent OHSU-wide 125th Anniversary Scavenger Hunt.
In first place, members of team “Extracellular Matrix” took home $250 each. Team members included:
- Tiera Liby, a research associate with Biomedial Engineering
- Katie Johnson, a research assistant with Molecular and Medical Genetics
- Joe Garay, a postdoctoral researcher with Biomedical Engineering
- Shenda Gu, a research assistant with Biomedical Engineering
- Spencer Watson, a graduate student in Molecular and Cellular Biosciences
In second place, members of “P-man and the Fab Five” took home $200 each. Team members included:
- Vicky Cheng, a research assistant with the Knight Cancer Institute
- Rachel Slottke, a research assistant with the Knight Cancer Institute
- Kristi Eilers, a clinical research manager with Hematology Oncology
- Chris Koontz, an administrative assistant with the Knight Cancer Institute
- Seonaid Squires, a research assistant with the Knight Cancer Institute

The third place team also had 3 researchers as members. Go scientists!
For the record there were 3 researchers on the 3rd place team also. 61ers plus 1 took home $150 each. Team members are Darcy Babcock, a senior research associate in Biomedical Engineering….Christine Reminih, research assistant 2 in Biomedical Engineering….Dawn Cote, research associate in Behavioral Neuroscience…..Lorie Gookin, administrative coordinator in the Dean’s Office SOM and Keith Garber, trades/maintenance coordinator in Facilities.
