Are you an OHSU faculty member with an upcoming grant deadline? Sign up for this four-week, professional development course on grant writing. The course, taught by Rachel Dresbeck, Ph.D., will provide advanced training and extensive individual feedback to help you write better grant applications. Topics will include strategic placement of information, improving sentence structure, and revising for clarity and readability. Class sessions are complemented by four one-on-one sessions with the instructor.
Prerequisites: OHSU faculty appointment or completion of the Vollum Writing Class; and imminent plans to write a grant and some preliminary data to write about. Suitable for experienced faculty who are writing grants in the new NIH format and for those with less experience, too.
Winter 2013 schedule: January 3, January 10, January 17, and January 24 from 4:15 to 6:15 p.m. in Vollum M1446.
Cost: $300
Register for the class by emailing funding@ohsu.edu.
