Local institute seeks applicants for $30,000 Commercialization award

The Oregon Translational Research and Development Institute (OTRADI) is currently accepting applications for its $30,000 Innovation and Commercialization Fund (OICF) award. As part of OTRADI’s ongoing mission to promote bioscience growth, commercialization and job creation in Oregon, this award is intended to spur new discoveries and innovation within Oregon’s growing bioscience sector. Oregon-based bioscience researchers are encouraged to submit projects proposals with commercialization potential by March 1, 2013.

Funded by the Oregon Innovation Council and the Oregon Business Department, the OICF will be awarded in grants of up to $25,000. The rest of the fund ($5,000) will be awarded as services provided by OTRADI. These funds are intended for university innovations or for projects at Oregon bioscience companies.

For more information about this award, download the application form on the OTRADI website. Questions and completed applications can be submitted to grants@otradi.org.
