American Asthma Foundation looking for scholars outside the field of asthma
The American Asthma Foundation seeks to draw outstanding early to mid-career scientists from other fields into the study of asthma. The Scholars Program is designed to achieve this goal by supporting highly innovative research from all fields relevant to asthma. Most Scholars will be studying asthma for the first time.
Award: Up to $150,000 per year for up to three years.
Deadline: February 6, 2013
Eligibility: Applicants should have an independent research program, with national-level, independent funding. Initial independent faculty appointment should be on or after February 1, 2003.
