Every year around this time, OHSU takes two weeks to focus on the Community Giving Campaign, which allows employees to direct contributions to seven community organizations that represent more than 500 local charities. Monthly payroll deductions are a convenient way to give and can add up to a significant gift over the course of the year. This year’s campaign started October 25 and will continue through Thursday, November 15.
If giving to our surrounding community isn’t incentive enough, Dr. Dorsa, Vice President for Research, has offered $1,000 in gift card prizes to randomly selected participants that work in a research center or institute or a basic science department. The holidays are right around the corner and these gift cards can help ease the strain of holiday spending! It isn’t the pledge amount that matters. Everyone who participates will be entered into the drawings to win a gift card. Encourage your department colleagues to submit their pledge!
$100 Target or Fred Meyer gift cards will be awarded to 10 randomly drawn participants. One gift card winner per family. The Research HR team will deliver the winners of the gift cards at the close of the campaign and announce winners here in Research News. Questions? Email Ashley Branch or Ashley Galvin.
