Hey Faculty! Fulbright Scholar programs in Africa and the Middle East, due Aug. 1

The Fulbright Scholar Program is looking for faculty to teach or conduct research for the 2013-2014 academic year in one of two area-specifc programs:

1) Fulbright Scholar Grants to Francophone Africa

In Sub-Saharan Africa, 18 awards are available in eight countries, including a multi-country research award. Countries include Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Guinea, Mali, and Senegal.

In North Africa, nine awards are available in Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia for all academic disciplines and many professional fields. A multi-country research award is available for 2 or more countries.

2) Fulbright Scholar Grants to the Middle East and North Africa

Over 50 awards are available in 13 countries including Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, and the United Arab Emirates, as well as the Palestinian Territories (West Bank). In addition, applicants interested in doing research in more than one country may apply for a multi-country award.
