Team-based learning workshop for faculty, June 26

Sandy Cook, Ph.D., and Kevin Krane, M.D., will be co-hosting this unique workshop designed to help faculty learn about and understand their options in regards to effectively utilizing team-based learning strategies. The workshop will be held in the School of Nursing, room 572, on Tuesday, June 26 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. A reception will follow at the BICC Gallery, 5 to 7 p.m. Faculty members are encouraged to invite their colleagues to attend this workshop.

Sandy Cook, Ph.D., is a Professor and Senior Associate Dean for Medical Education Research, and Evaluation at Duke-NUS. Before joining the Duke-NUS SOM, Dr. Cook served as Associate Dean for Curricular Affairs at the University of Chicago Prizker SOM.

Kevin Krane, M.D., is a Professor of Medicine and has been the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at Tulane University School of Medicine since 1994. He has overseen major curriculum change at Tulane, including the restoration of the medical education programs following Hurricane Katrina.
