Metabolomics workshop, June 13

OHSU’s Bioanalytical Shared Resource/ Pharmacokinetics Core and AB Sciex will be hosting a metabolomics workshop Wednesday, June 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Vollum M-1441. The workshop will be divided into two parts, each to be led by an expert in the field:

11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Data Processing Strategies for Global Metabolomics Profiling using New Accurate Mass Tools
Brigitte Simons, Ph.D., Accurate Mass Technical Specialist, AB SCIEX, Toronto, Canada.

12:30 – 1:30 p.m.
Renaissance of Metabolomics as a Technique for Discovery of Biological Activity
Fred Stevens, Ph.D., Director of Biomolecular Mass Spectrometry Center at Oregon State University, Associate Professor of Medicinal Chemistry; Principal Investigator, Linus Pauling Institute.
