If you attended the Research Week keynote lecture by Nora Disis, M.D., last night, then you may have heard her explain how she used a database called SciVal Experts to find fellow cancer researchers with similar expertise. Dr. Disis is a researcher at the University of Washington, but you have access to SciVal Experts at OHSU, too. This Thursday, May 10 from 12 to 1 p.m. in Mac Hall 2201, Research Funding & Development Services will be hosting a brown bag session on how to use SciVal Experts.
Learn how to:
- Use SciVal Experts to find out who does what (and what they’ve published) at OHSU.
- Find faculty with similar research interests.
- Use your Research Expertise profile to find targeted funding opportunities.
This presentation is one of a series of workshops that Research Funding and Development Services offers throughout the year, designed to share advice, tips, and general information on funding for the OHSU research community. It’s open to faculty, researchers, students, and research administrators. Questions? Contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
