Nominations for AAAS Mentor Awards due July 31

The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) seeks nominations for its 2012 Mentor Awards. There are two categories: the Lifetime Mentor Award and the Mentor Award. Both honor individuals who have consistently demonstrated extraordinary leadership to increase the participation of underrepresented groups in the sciences. The difference is that the Mentor Award is for nominees who have spent less have 25 years in the role of mentor, while the Lifetime Mentor Award is for those who have been mentoring for more than 25 years.
